Santa Cruz County Supervisor Bruce McPherson and Serviam by Wright LLP, the Court Receiver for the Big Basin Water Company, Inc., announce a Town Hall Meeting on May 15 at the Boulder Creek Fire Protection District. Nicolas L. Jaber, Attorney and Project Manager for the Court Receiver, will lead the Town Hall.

Offered in a hybrid in-person and virtual format, the Town Hall will provide members of the Big Basin Water community with an opportunity to receive a six-month update from Mr. Jaber, who first addressed ratepayers in November 2023 shortly after his firm’s appointment as Court Receiver by the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Santa Cruz. There will be ample time for questions from the in-person audience and those joining virtually or by phone through Zoom.

Members of the offices of Senator John Laird, Assemblymember Gail Pellerin, and Congressman Jimmy Panetta are expected to attend. Representatives from the State Water Resources Control Board Division of Drinking Water, Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board, California Public Utilities Commission, and the Santa Cruz Local Agency Formation Commission have also been invited.
